This is the text for GenChem I (Chem 201) classes. This "working text" is a work-in text with blanks and fill-ins and such. This text is a much leaner text than many other General Chemistry texts and it also modernizes General Chemistry content.
The online text is accessed by the links below. There is an optional print version available for $20 for those who prefer a paper version. Available times and places for purchasing the paper version are here (but this is subject to coronavirus restrictions at the time). SALES ARE CASH ONLY. (Sorry, no checks and no plastic.) The printing and sale of these texts do not profit any faculty member. There is no buy-back program for the print version; since it's a working text, you're supposed to write and highlight in it.
NOTE: Regardless of using the online version or using the printed version, students need to be aware of the most recent "Corrections to errors", as linked below. That list can change as needed.
